Measurements

First the easy size, then the user's recommended height and chest circumference. These run a tad large, so do not pick a larger size "just in case". For example, a 178 cm / 5'10" tall person with a 115cm / 45" chest could wear a Medium Regular jacket quite nicely.

The Austrian size system is explained in detail on ourAustrian jacket size chartpage. If you are already familiar with Austrian sizing and want to know how we came up with the easy sizes, below is our logic as a chart. All possible sizes in the chart are not manufactured of course.

Short | Regular | Long | X-Long | X-Small | Small | Medium | Large | X-Large | 2X-Large | 3X-Large

Features

These Anzug Tanker Jackets might be even cooler than the Anzug basic field jackets, and that is saying a lot! They have a lot in common, but with closer inspection, you’ll see that these tanker jackets have details similar to bomber jackets. You have a ribbed hem and cuffs, slanted front pockets, and a zippered front. The hem is short so it won’t hang under your ass or anywhere else for that matter – you don’t want to get stuck on anything while crawling around inside a metal monster. The upper back has an opening (with hook and loop closure) which you can use to pull out the rescue loop found in many armor crew overalls.

  • Two zippered side pockets
  • Zippered sleeve pocket with pen holders on top
  • Collar with hook and loop tab
  • Loop areas for name tag and other patches
  • Anzug-like olive green color

Condition

The tag says Bundesheer which means the Austrian Armed Forces. As far as we know, these garments have once been worn by vehicle personnel, possibly even tank crews. The jackets are in good condition, despite being used.
