Description
If you’ve never been hunting, you’re about to get closer to the hunting experience than ever before – though not actually very close. In fact, pretty far away. Anyway: this is red deer meat, doused with Jägermeister and spices, and then dried.
How does it taste?
The flavor and mouthfeel are a bit different from beef jerky. This jerky is relatively soft and mild. There’s no real heat to speak of; the Jägermeister comes through as a subtle hint (or perhaps the tester’s Jägermeister tolerance is such that only the real thing, neat, registers anywhere). The salt level is quite moderate compared to some other Kuivalihakundi jerky products.
All in all, this is a jerky product that’s different in many ways – perfect for adventurous tasters, and sure to find its fans.
PS. As a serving suggestion, we recommend pairing this Jägermeister jerky with a proper dose of well-chilled Jägermeister.
