Description

A pair of high-quality sunglasses with ballistic protection. Stylish enough for everyday wear, but also an excellent choice for shooting sports, motorcycling, etc.

  • Good fit with some extra grip on the nose area - these won't fall off!
  • 2.2 mm thick polycarbonate lenses with anti scratch & fog coating, these lenses basically won't break
  • Fulfills CE EN 166, which means these go for certified protective eyewear.
  • Can be used as shooting glasses
  • Comes with a microfiber storage bag

The EN166 standard means these will handle a 6mm 0.86g ball pellet coming at 45 m/s. In other words, 0.87 Joules. This is the highest rating Bollé gives for templed sunglasses, the "shotgun proof" stuff is for mask-like protective gear that has a strap instead of temples.

We have these with three different lenses:

Smoke Gray

These have maximum glare reduction. Won't distort colors. Excellent in bright conditions,

99.99% UVA and UVB protection, VLT 13%.

Blue Flash

Gray from the inside so your view is essentially the same. The blue coating reflects heat radiation effectly and looks awesome.

99.99% UVA and UVB protection, VLT 13%.

Polarized lenses

Polarized lenses are especially effective against sunlight that reflects off surfaces: wet roads, windshields, seas and lakes...

Polarized lenses are a popular choice for driving, high-speed sports and fishing - the latter because you see through the water surface and not so much the glare on the surface. We only go fishing in the dark with stolen reels and rods - always drunk, too - so we wouldn't know what kind of sunglasses you need for that.

99.99% UVA and UVB protection, VLT 13%.
