Technical details and instructions

MILSPEC materials

Made from 1000D Cordura with PU-coating. All webbing, zippers, and velcro are Finnish military-grade stuff, high quality, and naturally NIR-compliant. The map window plastic is rated for -40 degrees Celcius (-40 F); similar material is used on Finnish army map pouches. The current Ranger Green color is more grayish than the old Green.

A proper good cargo pocket map pouch, designed to fit A4 size maps and papers, smaller notebooks, pens, pencils, etc., small trinkets you may want to carry with you in the field. The model is based on an older Finnish army special forces issue map pouch with a load of little improvements and overall much-simplified construction.

  • External dimensions approx. 23 x 17 cm / 9" x 6.5", weight approx. 160 g / 6 oz.
  • Large A4 size map window on the outside.
  • Small 21 x 13 cm / 8.5" x 5" windowed compartment on the inside.
  • 21 x 13 cm / 8.5" x 5" pocket with open side and a zippered compartment of the same size on top.
  • Elastic holders and pouches for five pencils and a 20 cm / 8" ruler.
  • A pull-out and tie-down webbing strap on the spine.
  • All materials and components used are MILSPEC!

These are made by Finnish CPE. There are various manufacturing locations, all inside the EU (e.g. Poland and Czech Republic).
