Description

We managed to get hold of something really special. The current issue one-person tent of the US Army in Woodland camo! Soldiers of other armies can only dream of such luxury apartments. Really well made and completely unused. We got very few of these even though the demand is high, and we won't get more. So, you know what to do, right?

  • One-person tent
  • Waterproof, insect-proof
  • Weight about 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs.)
  • Completely unused, so as good as new

One-person tent

This compact individual tent comprises of two parts, the inner tent and the outer rain fly, which is coyote brown on the one side and woodland camo on the other.

Pitching the tent is very easy, just stick the aluminum poles in the holes and the thing pops up. In addition to the sleeping space, there's also a little porch for your boots and rucksack. Both parts can be used separately, too!

The tent is completely insect-proof thanks to the solid floor and very tight mesh. You can also zip up the nylon doors and these coupled with the rain fly make the tent "blacked out", so no light comes in or out. A very good feature in military use and in some sinful affairs that we know nothing about.

Dimensions

  • External measurements: c. 244 (96") x 103 (40.5") x 83 cm (32.7")
  • Packed dimensions 43 x 15 cm (16.9" x 5.9")
  • Weight: c 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs.)

Package contents

  • Inner tent
  • Rain fly
  • Pole set
  • Stake set
  • Repair kit
  • Some carrying bags

The three poles are all the same length. The one that tensions the flysheet is extremely tight and is likely to bend if forced. Maybe it should be shorter? To fix the situation even in the field, tie a loop of paracord to extend the reach and maintain a reasonable tension.

Jan-u-wine US army stuff

Yeah, these are authentic US Army tents made by Eureka! Expeditionary Systems in the USA. On top of everything, these were forgotten in a warehouse totally unused. We saved them from there for you!

One gripe: these have been packed for some time and can have a strong nylon odor. It will go away if you pitch the tent and let it air out for a while.
