Technical details and instructions

MILSPEC materials

These are made from similar materials as the Finnish army M05 combat equipment. The straps are high-quality polyamide webbing and all buckles are made by ITW Nexus. Everything is naturally MILSPEC stuff with necessary NIR reflecting capabilities etc.

A simple 2-piece nylon strap to be used as sternum strap for anything with shoulder straps. Affordable and extremely handy. This 2-piece strap is about 50 cm / 20" at max length.

The advantages of a sternum strap are:

  • Prevents your rucksack from flopping around
  • Takes a bit of the weight off your shoulders if needed
  • Prevents the shoulder straps from sliding off your shoulders

Of course attaching the sternum strap is made easier if your backpack already has loops on the shoulder straps. 25 mm width strap should pass through most loops.
