Materials

The caps that we checked were made from the Polartec 100-series microfleece, which is 100% polyester. There can be other materials combos as well, but they all should have the same characteristics.

Features

The official name of this cap is Cap, Synthetic, Microfleece. It is used by the US Army, Air Force, and the Marine Corps in different colors. This Coyote Brown is the USMC version. It is lighter, less bulky, and dries quicker than knit cap, so it is perfect for active sweaty stuff. Tough waterproof stuff that can easily withstand the horrors of civilian life, too.

One size fits most. For young children, you might want to get something else though.

Condition

Used USMC military surplus. The condition varies a bit, but all seem to be in nice condition, some may even be completely unused. There can be some chalk dust on some of these from the warehouse.
