Hey vintage people! How's about this model 1960 Swedish skirt made of thick diagonal wool? A one-off lot, restock will happen never! We're hauling these out, get a bunch now, if only for DIY materials!

The pictures pretty much say what's it about. These have a bellowed back hem, zipper closure, and a small coin pocket.

Diagonal wool?

Yeeees, this is the stuff dreams are made of. It's thick, airy, and soft wool with a nice diagonal weave. Nowadays VERY expensive, the modern human usually hasn't even encountered such quality. In times past they used to make a lot of soldiers' clothing out of this.

These might also contain a percentage of something else than wool, but we have no hard data on this.

Care

Washing should be avoided as much as possible - fortunately, the material stays fresh for a long time thanks to the superb properties of wool. If the need arises, machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F. Hang dry. Use of wool care products not necessary but beneficial.

Size info - read carefully

First the measured waist of the skirt, then the total length of the skirt. The sizes might vary just a tad from our numbers: some of these have been tailored a bit, but mostly have enough extra fabric in the folds for slight alterations (waist & length). You'll very likely get a skirt which at the minimum fulfills our measurements.

Genuine Swedish vintage

Many of these are used but all are in neat condition. Fortunately, most of these haven't been used in combat - we found only a handful of examples with bullet holes and bloodstains.
