Measurements

Manufactured in UK sizes but we also added the approximate EU size. The US-size? Simple: UK-size +1, e.g. UK 8.5 is US 9.5. These are relatively small sizes, so we recommend taking one size bigger.

Technical details and instructions

Materials

The upper is made of a combination of supple and tough hydrophobic leather (2,0-2,2 mm) and wear-resistant Nylon. Inside there is a three-layer waterproof and extremely breathable Gore-Tex membrane. The breathability ensures that these are also perfectly suited for dry weather and indoors. These come with moisture-removing fleece insoles by Texon, which can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius (86 F).

The non-slip outer sole of your Combat GTX provides the necessary grip on any terrain and it is oil-resistant and conforms to the EN ISO 20347: 2012 02 standard.

NOTE! Because of the Gore-Tex membrane, you should not use regular shoe polish or grease on these. Only use shoe polish that is specifically designed for GTX. If you apply regular polish, say bye-bye to the breathability.

Features

Haix Combat is based on the popular P6 model, which was already a great boot, but now it is even better. The Gore-Tex membrane will keep the feet dry in the crappiest weather, and the Sun Reflect feature will reduce the heating effect of the sun. The boots offer very good ankle support, and they have a coarse anti-skid sole that is quite nice in slippery ice hell. For tall combat boots, these are surprisingly lightweight. One boot only weighs 725 g/1.6 lbs (size 44/UK 9.5).

Use

These boots are designed for demanding professional use. For example, police and other law enforcement officers, as well as security professionals will get excellent work boots out of them. They are also very well suited for hiking, hunting, camping, and city use in shitty weather.

Warranty

All HAIX footwear are covered by a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Ordinary wear is not covered. We do not handle international warranties or warranties for HAIX footwear that's not bought from us.
