Measurements

The Anzug 03 cargo pants are generously sized at the hips and thighs. The legs are on the short side and taper quite a bit—these were intended to be worn with combat boots. Therefore, many folks tend to take a longer size than normal.

These are made in various widths and lengths – just like jeans! The Austrian Bundesheer size in the brackets uses regular numbers for the width and Roman numerals for the length. Even in the case of pants, the width is based on chest size, as is common in Europe. The assumption is that a regular man will have a waist 12 cm (~5") smaller than his chest.

Description

Here you have the Austrian military summer cargo pants, model 2003. The cut is even better than on the BDU pants! Ripstop of course. Excellent pants for business and pleasure, no matter what those are.

Features

The Austrian Bundesheer actually seems to think of the end-users when designing field clothes! These have a really good cut, thin ripstop fabric, zippered fly, and elastic adjustments at the cuffs. In some cases, the strings have been cut off, but they are easily replaced because the channels are still there. Reinforced knees, as usual.

Condition

Used Austrian military surplus but in serviceable condition. Expect a bit faded fabric and some well-made repairs. Some might also have small holes or other signs of use, and the elastic cuff adjustments might be gone.
