Description

The rubberized German army gas mask bag is a nice Flecktarn camouflaged pouch that attaches directly to the webbing kit with the special BW attachment system. However, a separate carrying strap is included.

This is quite similar to the old green rubber bag of the Cold War era, just a bit larger and covered with camouflaged Cordura. These are becoming rarer and rarer these days. The rubber closure is quite secure, and sort of fast to use too. They also made the shoulder strap detachable.

Size info

The dimensions are c. 34 x 30 x 20 cm (13.4” x 11.8” x 7.9”), but it's somewhat difficult to give accurate estimates about this kind of a floppy bag. There is a small c. 25 x 8 cm (10” x 3”) pouch inside the bag that has a snap fastener. Weight about 600 grams (1.3 lbs).

Condition

Genuine Bundeswehr military surplus. If these have been used, they haven't been used much. They all seem to be in pretty nice shape.
