Most of our inventory revolves around tactical pants for men but we do have some combat pants cut specially for women too. Most of the tactical pants we sell go very well with more civilian outdoor activities too. For example our own Särmä TST L4 Field Pants make for an excellent pair of hiking or field pants. Military tactical pants often come as camo pants with various different camouflage patterns. Most of our own pants come in Finnish M05 and M04 Camo but we do have lots of other camo pattern pants available as well.

Cargo pants

Cargo pants were first made for military use around 1930’s for the British military, so they are often also known as military cargo pants or just army pants. We have fantastic cargo pants in both new and used condition as military surplus pants. Interestingly the term "cargo" itself, derived from the Spanish word "cargar" (to load), perfectly encapsulates the pants' purpose – carrying your belongings effortlessly. Since the 1990’s cargo pants have gained popularity in the civilian market too due to their functional aspect in hiking for example.

Cargo pants are characterized by multiple large pockets, typically located on the sides of the thighs, providing ample storage space for maps, tools, and other essentials. There are many names for different types of military cargo pants, but usually they just mean more or less the same thing. Durable fabric, zipper fly or a button closure, two legs with large pouches for sorting gear out of your hands. Placement, size and the number of leg pockets varies from military to military but are there for the same purpose.
