Technical details and instructions

The good kind of SS, i.e. stainless steel. Weight with the bag c 90 grams (3.2 oz) and the length is 16 cm (6.3"). The bag is c. 18 x 6,5 cm (7.1" x 2.6"). So, this isn’t the ultralight camper’s dream but you can decrease the weight by leaving a piece you don't need at home. Moreover, stainless steel has the advantage of not breaking in half during use that easily. Unless you spoon through hordes of enemies with it. These can also handle fire and hot surfaces without melting. Good things in field utensils, yes?

Features

This is a bit streamlined civilian version of the German army four-piece set. Unlike the good old spork, you can separate these tools from each other since they hang from a key-ring kinda thing. So, when the need arises, you can conjure up a romantic dinner in the bush with a proper setting and adjust the cutlery between each course. Or you can go (almost) ultralight by leaving unnecessary bits at home.

This sure as hell isn’t a luxury item but it works, is easy to clean, and cheap! If you happen to misplace something in that famous good spot, it won’t gnaw your nerves to shreds.

Manufacturer A. Blöchl. Probably made in China.
