Monoculars

The monocular vs binocular vision issue might raise some questions. It is a matter of preference but monoculars weigh less than half of similar binoculars and are usually also a lot cheaper, so that is at least good to keep in mind. Binoculars offer a wider field of view and are better for the eyes in long-term use because they don’t cause eye fatigue. You shouldn’t necessarily look for the best monocular but the best monocuar for your needs.

Binoculars

When searching for the best binoculars, the most important thing is to figure out where you will use them the most. The best tactical binoculars aren’t usually the best hunting binoculars. At least not the best hunting binoculars for the money. MIlitary binoculars often have different requirements than the ones used for e.g. deer hunting or bird watching. And even when searching for the best binoculars for hunting, you need to know whether you need them for daytime bird hunting, hunting deer at dusk, or long range hunting where also a rangefinder is good to have either built-in or as a separate gadget. When you have narrowed things down with binoculars, reviews are a good place to figure out what brand to choose.
