Here you'll find rain pants, tactical waterproof pants, and other water-resistant pants that are for those very moist environments and those heavy rains that happen just during your planned outdoor activity. Waterproof pants are generally used when you knowingly go to a wet thicket to traipse.

Rain pants of all kinds

We have those military tactical waterproof pants with and without suspenders. And, of course, this selection also includes brand new water resistant trousers and military surplus as well. Some of the rain pants are basically regular outdoor pants but with a waterproof and quite breathable membrane such as Gore-Tex. Pants that are made for this purpose are mostly designed a little loose because, on average, you’ll wear some warmer layers underneath.

Waterproof pants for the occasion

Rain pants are revered by those who use them and for a good reason. When you need them, the fuss of getting them on is a minor inconvenience and well worth the effort. Paired with a rain jacket, a waterproof membrane jacket or rain poncho, these are an obvious choice. The downside is that when donned over regular pants, they will increase sweating, and they are a bit of a chore to put on - even if you have side-zips to make things easier with boots on.

The rain pants in our collection are unisex. We don’t differentiate between rain pants for women and men’s waterproof pants. You just need to pick a size that fits you and lets you stay comfortable while being easy to put on when the need arises.

Water-resistant pants and durability

Pants are also more susceptible to wear than jackets, so the choice between the technical membrane stuff and non-breathing ones should be carefully weighed. Non-breathing rain gear is usually sturdier, but doesn’t breathe as well. Sweating can be decreased with the right choice of lower layers and using them when you are not exerting maximum effort. Breathable membrane fabrics should have the knees and butt reinforced as the fabric is naturally thinner.
