Description

The Polish army’s woolen jersey. Ageless and sharp, this form of sweatshirt has been copied by numerous militaries worldwide. It looks good on anybody, it is warm, and has been reinforced in all the right places. Did we mention it’s 90% actual wool and still in factory plastics? Get it now, as this might be the only batch!

This pullover covers all the basics. The olive green garment has reinforcements on the elbows and the shoulders, where you will also find the button-closed epaulets. There’s a breast pocket with compartments for pens and a notebook on the left. The cut is somewhat relaxed and, with some stretch added into the mix, suits practically everybody.

SIZE

We got these in three sizes, all of which are fairly long. Next to the easy size you will find the wearer’s suggested chest circumference and maximum height.

The fit is looser than is usually the case with pullovers of this kind. Our model is 182 cm tall with a 95 cm chest circumference, wearing size Large (96-102 / 180). As you can see in the photos, you get a more relaxed fit by choosing a slightly bigger size. By choosing your size or even one size smaller, you get a pullover with a snug fit.

MATERIAL AND CARE

The jersey is made from 90% wool with 10% acrylic in the mix for durability. You don’t need to wash woolen clothing that much, as you can usually freshen them out by airing them and using a brush. If you did an “Ooopsie!” or you just have a hankering for washing, we suggest washing at 30 °degrees Celsius (86 °F) with a wool cycle.

UNISSUED SURPLUS

For some unfathomable reason, wojska ladowe, aka the Polish land forces, have decided to kick these as-good-as-new jerseys out of their warehouses. Their loss is our gain, as these don’t even have a smidgen of Polish recruit tears on them or other excrement. They don’t even have that eau de warehouse smell, as they haven’t been stored for long.
