Instructions

Simply drop the brass end of the thinner cord through the barrel from the chamber end, then pull the cord when it appears out the muzzle. This tool completes all cleaning steps – metal bristles loosen debris, and the braided cloth removes it. Super handy. When finished, roll it up and store it back in the case.

Why start from the chamber end? E.g. to avoid dragging residue from the barrel or chamber into the gun’s interior.

Other Considerations

A cord-like tool like this can’t remove a stuck case from the chamber, but it’s far more convenient for quick field cleaning than screw rods. For deep cleaning, there are special products and tools, but this will make your rifle’s barrel inspection-ready in ten seconds!
