BW Desert Cargohosen, Tropentarn, Überschuss

Current issue German desert trousers. Genuine Bundeswehr surplus.

These are rather simple and practical field trousers: zipper fly, 3.5 cm / 1.4" wide belt loops, and buttons for suspenders. The trousers have five pockets; two front pockets, one back pocket with a button, and two cargo pockets closed with two snap fasteners. The right side cargo pocket has a smaller pocket inside for a multitool, chocolate bar, etc.

The fabric is usually 85% cotton and 15% polyester.

As a fun fact, the German Bundeswehr got their trouser cut right in the '60s and disregarding some superficial tweaks, they have remained essentially the same.

Sizes in waist/inseam (inseam is measured from the crotch to the end of the leg).
