A small, padded pouch made for a gunsight accessory. Perfect for small lenses, flashes, and other small photog equipment.
Roughly speaking, there are magazine pouches, general utility pouches, and a variety of pouches made for specific pieces of equipment. Quite often they can be adapted for other uses. This Parascope pouch by TSSI is a good example.
The Parascope is a gunsight accessory that allows making aimed shots from behind a corner. The desire to shoot from behind cover is an old one with various inventions dating back over a century. This optic device was successful enough that a specific pouch was manufactured for it.
The pouch itself is padded all over, which makes it ideal for various other pieces of sensitive gear, such as Micro 4/3 lenses or small flash units. The padding protects the contents and also makes the pouch stiff so you can put things inside with one hand. With an adapter, you can securely carry the pouch on an ordinary belt.
In the pictures, we show two items for which the pouch proved to be pretty much the perfect size:
These are unissued, ready to receive the first signs of use by you. Made in USA to last a lifetime. If you're going to torture-test these, remove the contents before riding your truck over the pouch.
