Genuine soothing green US tank crew coveralls. Fire-retardant fabric, lots of wonderful pockets, and very comfortable to wear. Excellent condition, so nobody has driven over these with a tank. These all do yank the price up a bit but it still isn’t bad for these super duper coveralls.
Oh boy, the US tank crews have it nice! Riding safely in air-conditioned armored cans wearing these comfortable coveralls, never having to haul heavy shit on your back for long distances. This garment is officially called Coverall, Combat Vehicleman's. It is the outfit of choice of the crews of US tanks and other combat vehicles.
The coverall has a two-way zipper and a big ass flap with a zipper and hook & loop closure, so you don’t have to remove anything when going to the toilet amidst your car repair fiesta.
These coveralls have a whole lotta lovely pockets. The left sleeve has a small zippered pocket, and above it you have four slots for pens or other pen-shaped thingies. Then there are two zippered breast pockets, two side pockets plus two pockets on the thighs and shins. Lots of space for all your crap! On the left side, you have a loop from which you can hang tools or a bunch of keys.
The fabric is flame retardant but the material may vary. Some of these are made from 92% Nomex, 5% Kevlar, and 3% P-140. Others state that they are 100% aromatic polyamide aka aramid. Nomex was the first commercial aramid but there are also others. So, the latter ones can be Nomex but they can also be something else with similar properties. These materials won’t melt or catch fire easily. Note that this is due to the properties of the material itself. They haven’t been treated with some chemical that fades away when washed. However, since this is milsurp, we cannot give you any inflammability warranty. So, don’t set yourself on fire to prove a point.
The coveralls display the simple size and the Nato size. However, we added the recommended height and chest circumference of the user here to make things easier.
Officially these are used US military surplus but they have been used very nicely. Clean and intact. Some might not have seen any use at all. A fantastic garment.
