The collaboration between Administrative Results and Varusteleka bears fruit again – we put a nice logo embroidery on our already great Särmä Blanket Shirt, and the outcome is quite executive: The Administrative Results Blanket Shirt!
The Blanket Shirt is a primitive low-tech super garment where the natural qualities of wool combined with simple and clever details make for a very functional outdoors jacket. This will quite surely turn some heads in urban areas, too!
The idea of the Blanket Shirt stems from ancient outdoor garments. Wool jackets with this basic form have been used from around the middle ages. In more recent times, these have gained popularity among traditionalists.
The Blanket Shirts and Särmä Luhkas are sewed in Finland by Kolmituote, Salon Seudun Työkeskus Oy. Made in Finland!
Administrative Results is a popular figure on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. He produces interesting content in various topics – from gun reviews to flamethrower shenanigans and even some historical reenactments.
You can see him doing his thing in these places:
Varusteleka personnel first got acquainted with this character some years ago in Las Vegas while on a SHOT Show trip, when they sat down to the same table with Garand Thumb, Blue Jean Operator, and Admin himself. It was soon clear that this was the start of a beautiful friendship. Administrative Results first came to Finland in 2022 and blasted through our Finnish Brutality 2-gun action match – he came right back for the 2023 match. See the video! (If it doesn't play, log in on YouTube to watch the video.)
During his first stay in Finland, Admin also developed a fondness for our Blanket Shirt, which you might have seen appearing here and there in his internet content. Long story short: We decided it was time to give the guy his own version with a nice Administrative Results logo on the front!

The Blanket Shirt is a simple and functional garment that doesn't throw tried and true features away. These were good back in the day and not the least bit worse in the days to come. We didn't reinvent the wheel, just made our variation of it with practical features.
The chest pocket is large and positioned a bit higher up on the chest so as not to interfere with backpack hip belts or equipment belts worn over the shirt. Great for storage or warming your cold fingers. Inside the pocket is a smaller pocket, sewn onto the body side of the shirt. This little flat pocket is intended to store any important valuables such as mobile phones safely. Access slits on the sides to make rummaging through your trouser pockets or accessing equipment on your trouser belt easier.
The hood offers protection from wind and rain and keeps your head warm, an obvious necessity if there ever was one. The hem is way longer on the back, which will keep the crack of your arse covered in any squatting position, and it also offers protection from wet or cold surfaces when sitting. Unbemazing!
Raglan sleeves, these are an elegant solution! No seams anywhere on top of the shoulders, so there's no chafing when carrying backpacks or machine guns. Mobility of the arms is better as well.
We used to make these for a long time under the Jämä brand from army surplus blankets and other materials we happened to find. The availability of materials couldn't keep up with the demand, so these are now made from purpose-sourced fabrics as the Särmä Blanket Shirt – Särmä and Administrative Results Blanket Shirts only differ by the embroidery part.
Steal the look!
If you want to look like the man, this here might be a good base for your setup!
