The blade profile is more of a tactical tomahawk than a traditional axe. Very slim. lightweight and easy to carry. The full-tang construction means there is steel from the head to the tip of the hilt. The blade has undergone controlled-atmosphere heat treatment, which leaves a rough, brownish hue, suited for a tool designed for use rather than show.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eOne-and-a-half-handed rubber grip\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis axe has the same weatherproof  \"one-and-a-half-handed\" handle as our Skrama 240. The back end provides a good, solid grip and more power for tough chopping.
