Varusteleka webshop in Polish

Varusteleka webshop in Polish

We have been working hard over the last couple of months and are pleased to announce that our Polish language website is now live!

A brief introduction

If you ended up here by accident, a brief intro might be in order. Varusteleka is a well-established Finnish manufacturer and retailer of military and outdoor clothing & gear. We also arrange the Finnish Brutality shooting competition, which has gained quite a following worldwide. As Finns, our specialty is in layered cold-weather clothing designed to withstand harsh northern conditions. Our employees and customers are military personnel, reservists, practical shooters, hunters, and other outdoorsy people, and we carefully field-test everything we make. Practically all our own products are made in Europe because we want to ensure the security of supply (reducing China’s influence on the global market is also cool).

Why Poland?

What Finland and Poland have in common is the threat coming from the East, and the fact that we are now both NATO countries. We both know what Mordor is capable of and want to be prepared for anything they might throw at us.We want to share our military gear know-how and eastern flank expertise with you, our allies, and realized that it might be a bit easier if we provide our webstore in Polish.

Brothers in arms

As we are new to the Polish market, we are very happy to collaborate with Szymon, Krzysztof, and Mikołaj from P3AK Tactical. They have helped us to launch our Polish Instagram and Facebook pages (@varusteleka_pl) and provide content there in Polish. They also assist us with terminology, local contacts, and various other matters. Feel free to contact them at xxx@yyy in case you have ideas for local cooperation!

Our Polish webshop now

Currently, all products, menus, the shopping cart, and important information pages are available in Polish. We also translated the most important articles. Since we wanted to get things up and running ASAP, the site is primarily translated with the help of Skynet. We have added a notification regarding this on every product page. In case you want to read the original texts written by humans, check out the English or Finnish language versions.

What next?

Now that we have the webshop up and running, we will continue improving the language on our site together with our Polish friends. In case you also happen to notice anything weird fuckery there, let us know, and we'll try to fix it. We will also strive to provide locally favored payment methods, especially BLIK, for you. Unfortunately, the contracts with these service providers take some time to finalize, so this will likely occur in 2026, as soon as we can get all the details sorted out.
