This is a memo regarding the temporary adjustments at the shop and Bar Sotima during Christmas time. You may conduct your business here without unnecessary fuss, and above all, without the mandatory listening of Christmas carols.
Gift Wrapping by the Scouts (Dec 19 & 22–23)
If getting a gift wrap into a neat rectangle feels like an overwhelming battle, don't stress. We have outsourced the wrapping to the scouts.
- What: Gift wrapping service. Get your gifts neatly packaged and support the scouts.
- When: Friday 19.12. and Monday–Tuesday 22.–23.12.
Free Glögi and Gingerbread (Dec 20–23)
To keep going, you need to refuel. We are offering basic unit gingerbread and hot Glögi (Finnish mulled wine) on the Bar Sotima side. This is a small, free sugar dose to help you survive the impending pressure of Christmas.
- What: Heat and sugar. The cost is 0,00 €.
- When: December 20–23.
Shop and Sotima Closed (Dec 24–25)
We are doing what everyone else does: resting. Or at least being unreachable.

Closure: The Shop and Bar Sotima will be closed on Christmas Eve 24.12. and Christmas Day 25.12.
No Fuss, No Needless Consumption, No Christmas Carols
We have aimed to keep our premises a sanctuary of sense and practicality, even during Christmas.
- You DO NOT have to listen to Christmas carol warbling here.
- We do not encourage excessive fuss or reckless consumption. Buy what you need, not what the marketing department forces you to.
